Concert Buddies

A while back the Foo Fighters played at the Maverick Center. So of course, we had to see them. IT WAS AN EXCELLENT SHOW!! We payed for the good seats. We waited through the crappy opening band. When the show started Jenny even gave up the best seat so that I could enjoy them even more! I love this band.
Before I knew it, this middle-aged couple got out of their seats and jumped right in font of me and everybody else. It was like they didn't care at all. Although, I kinda remember him asking if it was ok to step in front of us. I said it was, but really it wasn't.
They were having their own little intoxicated party right in front of everyone and I happened to be the closest person behind them! He was leaving and bringing back drinks EVERY FIVE MINUTES. This fueled the show they were performing. Sadly, I was no longer watching The Foo Fighters. I was watching my newly-acquired concert buddies.
From this moment I knew that we were going to be friends through the whole concert. They were going to perform all the best scenes from "Dirty Dancing" drunk. And I had to watch.
Wasn't anybody going to say anything to them? They were ruining the show!! But all we could do was stare at the train wreck before us.
Personal space was out the door by this point, and the lady was flailing her hands in the air to wherever the music took them. That happened to be right in front of my face about an inch. How could this happen? Can't I enjoy this show? Maybe they'll quit by the next song. I hope they do.
Maybe the next one...
...
So I finally put matters into my own hands. I grabbed the drunk guys shirt and said "Hey!"
I punched him right in the jaw and he went down. The crowd behind me roared with happiness. So I punched the lady too. They both stayed on the ground for the rest of the concert.
I was able to enjoy the rest of what I could. It was such a good concert. I think I'll see them again.

P.S. That's not really what happened. About the middle of the show the staff escorted them outside.

And then they came back...
