It's Cold!!!

This is a cartoon I created for the UVU Review. Enjoy!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Cartoon # 2

This is another cartoon I did for the UVU Review. The theme was Thanksgiving. I'm having a lot of fun doing these cartoons. Enjoy!

Best of INKtober

Last month I took on a challenge called INKtober. The challenge was to create a picture in ink everyday in October. These are the best of my INKtober drawings. Enjoy!

Editorial cartoon #1

My first editorial cartoon. This is currently in the school newspaper (UVU Review) this week. Check it out. The topic was parking at UVU. Enjoy!

Mighty Mascots

This is another promotional piece for the Mascot Bowl held every September in Lehi, Utah (click on the link to learn more about it). There was a quick turnaround time for this one. I finished it in 2 and half days. I'm excited on how it turned out with such a short time to complete it in. I used Corel Painter X and wacom tablet. These are really fun to do.

Now back to homework. Thanks for looking at my blog.

A sense of adventure

Last semester I was assigned to do 100 sketches in my sketchbook. The sketch above was maybe the sixth or seventh sketch of an elephant doing different tasks. It had a good response from people. So I thought I would paint it. I had some helpful feedback from some excellent artists during the process (Thanks Rani Bean and Heather Michelle Owens). Enjoy!

Bad hair day

This was for a weekly sketch challenge. The theme was "bad hair day".

The ugly habit of smoking doesn’t care about you.

This is my submission for the deviantART Make Ugly contest. Don't smoke!
